Hey guys at CW, I just bought a used ninja from neobart off of lstforums.com. She is being shipped as we speak. Neil I dont know if you remember much about the mill but I hear its a farking beast! Can you comment any on the mill if you remember anything. I am getting an 086 pipe for it, its got new bearings throughout and a new wrist pin and con rod. The sleeve is being resized when it arrives btw. I know its a second hand cre mill, but Im as excited as Ive ever been about the hobby because of your work. Ive been following your threads  for a couple years now and Im really happy to be owning such a masterpiece made by the man himself! I just ordered some new jl t5 turbo plugs from you, I hope these will suffice for this mill? Im going to be running 25 or 30% O'donnells btw...

I am considering some options on the clutch, the mill is going into a losi muggy btw, ( I know its like throwing a blown dragster engine in a 500 dollar ford tarus) I know its a big heavy truck and the engine is super duper powerfull from what I hear. Would you recommend the 4 shoe setup from m2c for this truck and mill? Could you link me to the best kit for the clutch? Im thinkning the weighter 4 shoe kit but I dont know exactly which one to order. I am going to gear her up from a 12t cb to around a 13 or 14 btw. I need to see how fast this sucker can go! Ive ordered parts to upgrade the diffs, new avids throughout and brand new bearings for the clutchbell. Sorry I know Im thinking out loud again. Im just super excited about this mill, and as a backup Im going to get another mill from you as soon as my financial aid comes in from school! hahaha!

But long story short, what clutch system would you recommend? Is the pipe choice the best? and is there anything you can tell me about the mods that were done to this mill if you remember? Thanks man!

Awesome to hear, you will like the engine...however the bad news is the JL plugs will likely not fit properly in that engine...I tried some JL's in a Ninja 28 this weekend and they leaked, however the Werk's plugs seemed to work properly in the engine.... Now you may find the JL's to seal in your engine, best bet is to try and see what happens.... And the 086 works great on the 28

Ok supertib, I got the engine back from rayaracing today, he suggested using three shims to give it more clearance for breakin, Im using odonnells 30% race blend for the re break in. Would this be correct? using all three shims to break her in again? Can you give me any tips on this mill? I know every mill is different so I am going to be using the plug that came with it to break it in, which is a grp#5.medium. The 086 pipe and header should be here any day now, Im going to make a video for you guys of this thing in an 8t.

As far as gearing is concerned, how much balls does this mill have on the low end, I would love to have some top speed with this, what teeth ratio on the CB and spur would work well with this mill to get me going fast? Not for long periods of time, but I would love to see what she has. I am ordering a m2c weighted flywheel from you guys this week, esp because your prices are better than m2c's site, haha Smile

Btw when are guys going to bring some of that awesome CRE fuel to the usa? I would love to test some out for you guys and make some vids! Ill pay of course. Thanks for any answers you can help me out with...nubb

That Ninja 28 is pretty powerful, tho it is not a drag modified engine, it is a race modified engine....I would gear it up 1 tooth over stock...gearing any higher will likely just kill performance as well as the clutch......I am not a fan of gearing these machines way up, I find it makes the engine laggy off the bottom as well as limits peak RPM ........Its been about 4 years since I modified that engine so I am unsure of what head shimming it wants to run....What shims did Neobart run in it ?

There were two on it when it arrived to me, with an extra one in the package with it. Im so happy to see this beast in person, Im perfectly happy with it being a race modified mill neal. Its going to give me good power, with good fuel economy, with a nice powerband im sure, Im working on getting the original carb together, I found the insulator for the carb on amain and Im ordering it as we speak. Im going to run with two shims for break in I guess. Being that its been repinched I might as well go with what was on it I guess. Im hoping these plugs fit her, If not then I will be ordering some more from you guys I reckon. Smile you guys have great prices on all of your products and Im super excited about getting this girl up and running. The m2c clutch will be ordered soon as well, I cant wait to hear her run neal, Im so freakin excited! Thanks for answering my questions...

hey Neal! Is there anyway you can tell me a good baseline setting for the carb on this bad boy? I have looked and looked and looked everywhere. Is there anyone who knows a decent baseline setting for getting this girl started?

I just bought a used MR Ninja .28 and would like to know what plugs fit the engine since the o'donnell 97'ts do not fit. I've seen some ninja plugs for sale but don't know what to get since they are labled as hot glow plugs. The 97t's I use are medium and work fine for all my other enignes. I use 30% odonnell fuel too. Also when I ran the egine with the 97t glow plugs, the engine made a funny sound when it was decelerating. could this be because of the glow plug not fitting correctly?

Thanks
