I'm looking for a new engine for my Jammin X2. The O.S. thats in  it now is getting tired. I'm liking what I'vebeen reading about CRE engines on here and at lstforums.com . My question is what engine will give me the best bang for my buck?

What kind of driving style do you have?

What size track?

What characteristics did you like about the OS?

Best "Bang for the Buck" right now is the wicked price we have on the Clocked JL's.  You can search all day long but that one is a sick deal imo.  Rave reviews on the Clocked JL are all over the net too.  Very smooth, powerfull and sick top end with a perfect match up with a JP3 in buggy.  I personally love the JPX but I do prefer it in my Truggy.  For buggy, it can be alot to handle if you are not familiar with it's potent power.

Well I'm kinda new to nitro. My Driving style is I drive fairly conservative. Only racing I've done is onroad back in the day and MT a couple years ago. I did fairly well in the races I entered with my MT(LST2) but had problems with stuff breaking. My last race I miss the podium by 1position. I got 4th in a 10 truck field with only FWD. Not really sure what the track are gonna be like in my area. They keep closing and new ones open. The closest one to me is a fairly small track with about a 60-70 ft staight, lots of technical corners and bumps, dips. Hoping it reopens in the spring. Just getting back into racing and just want an engine that is capable of putting me on the podium if my driving is good enough to put me there. Was gonna pick up 2 engines when I do order. I want a Picco 28 for my LST2. I think I'm leaning towards the JL 21 for the buggy. thx
