Nova 28-7 Vs Picco 28

I race dirtoval 1/8. We have been running a motor rule and that was currently lifted. Looking into getting a new engine and dont really know whats hot right now. Looking for the fastest engine out right now. Whats is thebaddest engine out for what im doing. Nova 28-7 or the Picco .28? Also are the Jammin 28s the same as the JL .28s?

the Nova 28-7 is without question the fastest............the Picco is good, but it will not match the mod Nova

Is there a diff between the blue headed 28-7 and the purple headed versions?

just model year...all the new ones are Purple Head.........

I see you were talking about the novarossi 28-5 also in some other threads. What do you think about these? I was reading about how the intake ports were changed back to the single larger port...

I do not recall talking about a 28-5..... maybe I mis typed the model number ?  

 

maybe this is what you are thinking

 the Nova 528 had a split boost port...whereas the 28-7 has one single boost port....?
